Justin:
I have purchased several pups from quality kennels since mid-1980's and have made mistakes training pups. That is why the pup with the most natural ability is the easiest to train. What was seen at your place with inter-action with her litter mates set her apart for me. She continues to be an enjoyment to watch her develop. She already is broke to come in and to the checkcord. When we go out for our daily walks weather per- mitting she is always picking something up and that tells me she will be a natural retriever. I have a seven acre pasture for my other dogs to run for exercise in which runs parallel with a shale lane that I take Abby for walks and when the other dogs see her they want to investigate and stop and she stops as if to back. I told my wife that I believe that Abby will be a good one and she replied as to say that's what I say about all the pups that has been purchased. There has been pups that are too independent and has to be put under added pressure for them to please me and I don't like that in my dogs. Every dog has their little quirks in the field and Mr. Wehle always said "You can't get all the coon's up the same tree." holds true but you can get close. With all that being said I believe that Abby is as close as I will ever get and we enjoy each other's company. Abby love's to be with me and I have taken her mushroom hunting with me.
Thanks Again
Brian
